I decided to play with vellum today and my new bottle of Nuvo drops my sweet friend Janeenk gave me for my birthday!
I am taking a more abstract approach to Allison's fun SC677 sketch.
The flow of the boxes made me think of the flow of the first die I ever purchased. It's a sizzix branch die on a thin platform. The Butterfly takes the place of the oval and I placed the sentiment where the sentiment is suggested on the sketch!
Thanks for looking!

Oh Angela, I love the sweeping of the branches to symbolize the squares - that's a magnificent use of the sketch! I love it's soft, rustic feel and the pretty layers! Gorgeous card creation! Happy New Years my friend!

Beautiful card with the sweep of the leaves following the sketch - very creative. Love the beautiful butterfly and the brown, green and blue color combination.

Outstanding! Love your creative sample for the sketch. The flow of the branches for the squares is brilliant. Love the layered butterfly with the turquoise and the vellum for the oval. Love the colors! Excellent birthday card. Well done. TFS

OOOOooooooooo. LOVley! Just so LOVley! Great use of sketch, wonderful use of these colors, and the vellum is a great addition to the softness of the colors. (In case it didn't come through already, I REALLY like your card!)

I love the out of the box thinking! I had hoped that others would jump on the sketch and think outside the box and you nailed it with your card and the velum leaves. Terrific out of the box thinking!
