This is for Chrissy's CAS Challenge - "Not a creature was stirring". I woke up early on this Christmas morning and all my creatures were still not stirring, so I treated myself to some inky time. I got creative with the "sleeping in bed" theme and use the sentiment - a morning without coffee is like sleep. The smell of fresh brewed coffee might make someone get out of bed. I used Carey's Sketch Challenge and Barbara's Color Challenge. Also, I'm linking this for the Alphabet Challenge - Letter P: percolator, pink, pieced border. I will send this card to my DD so I put some glitter on the coffee pot and the mug as she loves sparkle. TFL

What a fantastic card this is Diane with this wonderful retro-style coffee percolator and mug and hilarious, yet true, sentiment! I am not a coffee drinker, but I have friends who I do not talk to until they have had their morning cup of coffee. Ha! This paper pieced border is gorgeous and I love the colorful brads with one being heart-shaped. The sparkle on the stamped images is so charming Diane. Merry Christmas to you! ~Karen.

This is a terrific way to use these colors!! I love your little coffee scene and how you have framed it. Super cute way to use the colors at the bottom - with the heart in the middle. :>)

Love the way you incorporated the sketch with your 'sleep' theme! That stamp set is a favourite of mine but for some reason I haven't used it for years! Thanks for the reminder. I love how you adapted the square sketch to your rectangular card. The little enamel dots finish it off perfectly! BTW I agree 100% with the sentiment! :-)
