When I finished making my 2nd one of these, it reminded me of the Death Star from Star Wars, so I went with it. I first scored and cut the base, and then added the foil tape, trimmed it and ran it through the embossing folder. I was careful to leave the areas the required gluing free of the foil. I love how this one turned out. The instructions can by found . I altered the size... started with 5"x8-1/2" and scored every 1".

Gorgeous sis!! High ho!! Mahalo for the info. Going need to try this and hopefully next year I’ll have a tree full of hand made ones with my favs on it. Maybe even make some precut and take it over to my sons and make some with the grand kiddos so they can put some on their trees years to come . I know I still have ornaments my kids made when they were in pre school and up lol and I love them the most every year I use to pull them out . I have this one made from egg carton and every year as my son got older he would tell me hide it in the back of the tree and I’d watch his face turn red every year I placed it in front lol when I come home some days I’d notice it was gone lol he had moved it to the back of the tree. I would go and put it right back to the front lol he is now 44yo and I still have it!! And love it more and move each year
