Dina's challenge today is to make a card with either an "All Is Calm" theme or an "All Is Bright" theme. Even though warm colors are my favorite, I went with the cool colors. Because when you say "Silent Night" I think Lovely As A Tree. And I wanted to make a snowy winter sky behind my tree line. I started with the trees and some snowflakes embossed with clear EP, then I tore some paper to mask the snowdrifts. Sponged the sky, then flicked some water and some white Distress Paint. Finished by lightly sponging some layers into the snow by moving my torn paper around and lightly sponging on some Broken China. Quick and easy card, which I needed because now I have to go wake up my boys and get them dressed. Today is the one day of the year that they get to come to the office with me.

I hope they have a fun day in the office with you! I'm so impressed that you make time to stamp and produce beautiful creations before work. This is gorgeous, such a calm and peaceful feel to it. Embossing the trees in white looks just super.

This is just gorgeous and it is definitely a beautifully calm scene too. Your sponging is fantastic as is your wonderful snow that has so much depth and dimension to it. This lovely bg really highlights your white embossed trees too. I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas Jennifer. Blessings. ~Karen.
