This was a really fun card to build. I started by sprinkling some Lindy's Magical powder on a craft mat, spritzed with water and placed white tissue paper on top. The paper absorbed the color and the Magicals have a lovely shimmer in addition to the color that shows on the tissue. The dry tissue was glued to white card stock, dried and die cut for the panel. On a piece of white card stock I sprinkled more of the Magicals. After spritzing with water I swirled the colors around with a silicone "noodle" brush to entirely coat the paper. After it was dry I applied Lindy's embossing powder in High Maintenance Magenta to give extra shine and texture. Die cut the heart and mini flowers. The sentiment is a piece of white card stock, die cut, then applied 3 layers of Lindy's embossing powder for a wet enamel look. Gina Marie glitter dots complete the flower centers.
I love using my MISTI when applying embossing powder because I can lay down 2 layers of Versamark in exactly the same spot to ensure a rich, even application of the embossing powder. The tissue must give this a wonderful texture IRL, I've used it with Brushos but from the way you mention shimmer, maybe your Magicals have little something extra. The heart looks fabulous too.
Pretty in Hughes of pink. I love the tissue technique but never have I tried it this way. Going to have to play are more with the technique.nor have I ever used embossing powder, I do see miss reviews on it but you seem to have mastered . Great job Ms Sonja.
