I recently saw a card Sally (hobbydujour) made using a video from Betsy Veldman. It was to create fan brush trees. I loved it and just had to give it a try. https://blog.papertreyink.com/2017/1...n-brush-trees/ This is such fun and you always get a different look.
I used distress ink and distress stains with a little Copic coloring for my card.
I sponged the sky, made the trees with the fan brush, then added the snow.

My goodness Brenda, you have taken a new technique and ran with it. Your "fan" trees look incredible and so does this snowy sky you added in. The deer complete this wonderful scene so much so that this could be my back yard. You chose the perfect sentiment to complete this gorgeous card with. Hugs! ~Karen.

Peace is right. This is truly a peaceful scene. I love all the trees you've placed in the scene, the deer will need the cover to keep them safe. I love the colors, this is a beautiful card.

Beautiful job on those trees and a lovely, peaceful scene, Brenda! I bought a fan brush just to try this technique. Can't wait til I've got some extra time.
