Cool technique today using string and a phone book..lol! I tried it with twine and yarn and decided this one with thicker yarn worked the best. I'm not known for my CAS cards so this needed something....I added some stenciling with dry wall tape and did some doodling around the edge. This is for a guy who recently had a major health challenge. He really has a great attitude but hey everyone can use some encouragement. Thanks for the fun technique!

I love the effect you got from pulling the strings off at the corner, Polly. It's like something unrolling! Like you, I had to add a bit more ;-), it was too bare. Your border and the stencilling over the sentiment look great.

You got a nice shape out of this string-pulling technique. But I gotta say, I am such a fan of your doodling. It makes the card.

This is great, Polly! The shape you got is fabulous and the added dry wall tape bits give it some more interest! Love the doodling around the frame as well!
