I just got a Gel Press plate from a sweet friend for my birthday, and I spent all day yesterday playing with it. Needless to say, my first several attempts are ugleeeeeeeeeeee. LOL!!!! Just being honest here! So instead of tossing the ugly pieces, I did some selective die cutting. I think the white snowflakes cover up enough of the gel press background that it doesn't look so ugly anymore. The sentiment was cut from another gel press piece where I did a streaky teal paint background. I had fun experimenting and I learned a LOT! I am looking forward to playing with it again during the Christmas holiday. :-)

Nothing like playing with new toys! Although it would be weird if you slept with it like my kids do with their new toys
So glad you found a way to use your "ugly" first attempts. It really gives a magical glow behind your die cut. Stunning card!
