For Holly's Blackjack Challenge, I couldn't resist a night sky looking up on some (Lovely As A) Trees. This is one of my favorite uses for one of my favorite stamp sets. This was going to be a wicked quick card because I had the trees all stamped and embossed in ten minutes. Then I tried to stamp and emboss "Silent Night". It was going to be a blurry mess. So I wiped it off and decided to try to find a Silent Night cut file that I could use for my ScanNCut. But then I thought maybe I could try to make one.
Using the "October Twilight" font from fontspace.com, I put this together in Word and saved it as a .jpg using the Snipping Tool. Then I imported the file into ScanNCut Canvas and saved it as a cut file. But it took me four tries to get it right. So I think I ended up about 5 to 10 minutes over my hour. I did ultimately get a pretty great card after all that work. The Silent Night is cut out of shimmer paper so this card really shimmers and shines in real life.

Your shimmer contrasts beautifully against the black bg. I love it.
