Using a technique I learned from Loll Thompson here, I created an alcohol ink bg (I was out of yuppo paper though so I tried Bristol vellum coated cs and it worked pretty well) with blues and some silver mixative. As it was drying I splattered on some white acrylic paint and also some more of the darkest blue alcohol ink. I love the effect this created. I matted the panel with silver foil cs and embossed the sentiment on my card front in silver. Die cut my tree and star and assembled - so happy with how it turned out!
I always love the techniques I learn from Loll!! Thanks Loll!

What an awesome looking bg for your sky Maura! Wow, so interesting and pretty! I love the simple die cut silhouette against it so that it really stands out and you can still see so much of the sky! Beautiful! Thanks for playing!
