for today's distressed edges card challenge, I used some recycled holiday cards for my sentiment panel and snowy background. Added a die cut house and stylized trees from my stamping friends. My card is 4 layers- and I edged my roughened layers with white craft ink for a snowy look.

Oh Julia, what a beautiful winter scene! I hope I just see it here, though - they're forecasting a cold snap with possible snow here. I'd rather just enjoy looking at your card. I love the trees framing it - and your sweet little bird.
