This is my card for Susie's fun Tickle a Teapotter challenge this week as we visit Whykickamoocow.
My birthday happens to be in October so I went with Painted Harvest - though I didn't use traditional harvest colors. My favorite colors are green and blue so I went more with that palette.
I did a watercolor wash of the gold acrylic paint and then stamped two of the flowers directly on the watercolor paper. I used a different color theme for the third flower that I fussy cut. Heat embossed the sentiment, added some gold sparkle paper, some gold thread behind the popped up flower. I hope you like it.

What a stunning watercolour page for our Whykickamoocow calendar. Catherine this is wonderful and I especially love the non traditional colours. Gorgeous!!!

I like your colours, Catherine, I think those sunflowers look just beautiful. I would love to be able to be more adventurous in terms of colouring birds and flowers in less traditional colours. The gold curved border and sentiment look beautiful too.
