Went with a technique that I have never tried, the crayon resist. Used a white crayon and made two panels. One in black the other in the green for die cutting the poinsettia pieces.
Love the variegation you achieve with this technique!

Curious to see Lydia's challenge when it's revealed. Is this using the crayon-rubbed embossing is beautiful. The background is almost like chalkboard, and the green flower just pops from it.

I really like your green poinsettia. I have seen white ones in real life with a green tint...so pretty!
