Another card for Send a Smile 4 Kids, with the "Cool Deer" again! When I showed this card to my mom, she remarked that this deer really gets around (on my cards, at least!).
I printed the deer onto an A2-sized panel of bristol paper, and printed the greeting onto another scrap of bristol. I colored the deer with my Tombow markers, using a water brush to blend and shade the colors. I colored the background of the greeting with a pale blue marker to match the background behind the deer, and spritzed it with my homemade Perfect Pearls mist for some added shimmer. When that had dried, I applied Liquid Applique over the "snow" on the word "COOL" and heat it to puff it up. On a scrap of red cardstock, I traced around the die I had used to cut the greeting circle and fussy cut it out to mat the greeting.
For the bottom strip, I die cut the 2 long sides of a piece of brown cardstock with the "Classic Postage Stamp" die. I cut a narrower strip from red patterned paper that I had in my scrap stash, and adhered it on the brown. Finally, I adhered that to the bottom portion of my bristol panel. I glued the greeting in place, and mounted my card front to a white card base.
