Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us a unique and fun challenge. Just two colors: either silver and white OR gold and white. After my initial panic at the thought, my head filled up with several ideas. I decided this is one of my favorite ever color challenges! Thank you, Karen!
Lots of well-loved (aka old) supplies went into the making of this card. I started out with a piece of vellum that has silver snowflakes embossed in it, and used it for the background. Those are some huge snowflakes for this scene, but oh, well!
The rest came together pretty easily—I cut the trees and sleigh from silver foil paper, and used some white glimmer paper for the foreground snow. I cut the circle from the top layer and stacked everything up. Die cut the greeting from silver foil and glued it in place.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
