I love making winter scenes for Christmas cards and when I finish one, I always have left-over die cuts so this was a perfect challenge as I got to use some of my left-over deer and trees!
The trees and deer are die cut from black cs. Die cut the square opening from a piece of white cs slightly smaller than my card front. Die cut the thin border part of the square die from glitter cs also, and used another small piece of glitter cs to die cut the snow drift. Using the negative of my white square opening I sponged winter sky colors, then spritzed with water, dabbed this dry to create spots and texture and then splattered with white acrylic paint. This creates 2 layers of "snow" for my scene. Attached my sky to the card front along with 1 evergreen tree, stamped the sentiment on the main panel and adhered the glitter square border, glitter snow drift, deer and the second tree,. Popped this panel up on dimensionals. Added 3 clear gems for an added something!
