What a great idea for the Thanksgiving challenge today, Cathy! I love leftovers! Especially card leftovers. Someone during Falliday Fest said that they had enough scraps on their desk for a weekly scrap/leftover challenge. Ha! I do too! I have a basket of goodies on my desk. It took some time to look through it. I was looking for something to use for a sympathy card. This print that I made out of a hydrangea leaf was the best suited for a sympathy card. I also tend to keep the frames when I cut out any kind of shape. So I framed my print with kraft. There's a reason that this print was in the scrap basket. I was hating this card the whole time I was making it. But once I had the branches stamped and colored and started actually assembling it, I realized that I really do like it.
Thanks for a fun challenge!
And Happy Thanksgiving, my SCS friends. I am thankful for this wonderful community

Beautiful use of your leftovers! I'm so glad you ended up loving this card, because it turned out just great!

Oh my goodness I love the leftovers on your desk. I am with you, I have enough scraps on my desk for a weekly scrap challenge. I have been pushing myself to use stuff up. I am going to make it a challenge to myself for 2018 to use stuff up. This is amazing and totally worth pulling out of your stash to use.
