This is for Judy's fun technique challenge - Crayon Rubbed Embossing.
This was heaps of fun to make, but I must say I had varying results depending on the embossing folder. I found the cheapest ones worked best.
My EF is useless for regular embossing. It is so sharp that it actually slashes clean through heavy cardstock.
The little houses were from my practice colouring stash, Prismacolour pencils with Copic highlights on top.
This is going into my journal so I don't forget this terrific technique.
Check this card out by Peggy (jasonw1). Peggy used the same EF. Her wonderful card has had 40,540 views and been faved 125 times. Like so many Splitcoasties, I miss Peggy.

Well, my friend, I think you have found the perfect use for an EF that slashes paper - it made the most Warm fiery sky for your adorable gnome homes! . . .plus it was probably much easier to get a rubbing from a sharp edged folder.

I have missed your whimsical houses, Susie. This is spectacular. I love the yellow and orange color combo with the crayon resist sun. You did an amazing job coloring all the little details on the houses.

I have a few embossing folders like that too, sadly almost every music one I have ever tried. What a treat to see on a dark gloomy morning. I wish I could sneak in there for s little sunshine therapy.
