Helen has a beautiful gallery and I was so intrigued with her nighttime BG's for some cards she did in Nov. 2016. I fell in love with her Galaxy Snow Crystals Christmas card, but wanted to do a birthday card for one of my granddaughters. I made the BG using several distress inks, splashed on some water, blotted it with a paper towel and then splattered on a bit of white acrylic paint. The moon was cut from white, stamped, embossed and I blended on a bit of mustard seed ink. The sentiment was stamped with versamark and embossed with white powder. I used a dark blue for the frame, because my GD is only turning 9 years old and I felt black wasn't quite right. Here's Helen's lovely galaxy card.

Wonderful galaxy sky and I love the gorgeous embossing on the moon! Super illustration of your sentiment and sure to be a hit with your grand-daughter.
