Wow, Helen has a beautiful gallery of cards and I fell in love with her nighttime cards she made in Nov. 2016. I knew I had a couple of BG's left from my stash, using the sea salt watercolor technique. I used a circle stamp with versamark, to form a resist on the watercolor paper, then wet the paper, applied night of navy ink all over with a wet brush and then dropped on sea salt. The salt crystals absorb the ink, leaving the dark dots, with lighter area around. The tree was cut from brushed silver, attached and the snowdrift added. I had applied dazzling diamonds to the edge with the essential glue pad. The sentiment was stamped in blueberry sky. Here's Helen's lovely card that inspired me.

What a beautiful night scene with the watercolor & salt technique. I do also love the die cut tree and glittery snow hill. Thank You for CASEing my card and sharing the inspiration!
