Today's Inspiration Challenge is Agraria San Francisco. I was inspired by this row of candles for set of my birthday cards.
When I saw the glass containers I immediately thought I could emboss a piece of acetate to look like them. I used a Houndstooth Embossing folder and layered the acetate over a colored cardstock panel. I attached the acetate to the card at the top with two brads - as adhesive ALWAYS shows through on acetate!
I used the same colors of ink as the paper on each card for the sentiment and design on the ovals. I layered the ovals over the acetate with foam dots.
I actually made 5 of these cards today - not shown is one in teal and one in dark purple.
I needed birthday cards for my stash - so today's challenge got it done! I'm late making them today as I had my adorable 5 yr old grandniece Mila with me for most of the day and we did crafts, coloring and school workbooks all day!
