I was cleaning my craft area today as it is still a mess from Falliday Fest! Anyway I ran into this discarded try at a Die Cut Swing card. The reason I didn't finish it was because the glitter flowers I applied didn't show accept for just looking like a mistake. So, I rescued it and cut out the thank you from a store bought card someone sent me. I saved it because I liked the script. I cut it out with same die I had done the oval with originally. I added one flower off the recycled card, and used another spellbinder die flower to put in the other corners to cover the glittery mess. Then I thought are there any pinks in Monopoly? Guess what, the fives are pink! Whoot! This is my card for the VSN What Color is your Monopoly Challenge. Fives are about my speed anyway! So it was to be monochromatic, too! Thanks Kim! Thanks for looking. It feels good to be cleaning and creating!

Sharon, I am super proud of you for rescuing this card and turning it into something so feminine and pretty. I struggle to switch gears on a card I am making and you have shown how this can be done with terrific results! ~Karen.

Sharon this is lovely! Such beautiful die cuts and excellent rescue work. I like the font of the thank you as well so I see why you saved it. You surprised me, though, that your monochromatic card isn't in the blue category! Lovely card!

Pretty in pink! Good for you saving parts and creating a new card. Also, nice recycling of the "thank you"; I like the font, too. Love the scallop ovals. Nice flowers. Always love sparkle. TFS
