My friend was telling me last week about how her daughter (who was born the day before Thanksgiving) doesn't like to see Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. She says don't skip Thanksgiving (and therefore her birthday, right?).
So I got the idea to make her a turkey card for her birthday. Her favorite color is purple, but I needed an extra push to get this card started. So I let this package inspire me.
I grabbed some purple paper and a found a stamp that kind of mimicked the pattern on the box and embossed it in gold. Then I grounded the turkey with a strip of purple ribbon like you see sticking out of the top of the box.

Love this card, Jennifer! I was just looking at the inspiration catalog and saw these colors and thought how lovely they looked together. Then I saw your card. Beautifully done. Love that background. Purple is my favorite color, also.

Such a cute card and I love the gold embossing with the purple. We used the same inspiration.

Wow, that is the perfect stamp to use for your inspiration piece. I used that same fragrance as my inspiration as well. I have that verve stamp and didn't think of using it. A wonderful Thanksgiving card.
