Using my practice piece of spraying the frost white for my previous card. Spray was too heavy to use for that card but I think it will work for a galaxy for the challenge. I did not have any outer space rockets, but I did have this shiny star from Karen (thanks Karen!). I traced the diecut on night of navy c.s. with a white pencil and cut it out to back the silver star diecut. I used delicata silver to stamp O Holy Night and then sprinkled the iridescent sparkle e.p.

You have created such a great Milky Way here with your spray tryout! It's perfect for the challenge, and the gold star looks great on it. Seeing this brings back memories of the first time that I was really able to see where the Milky Way got its name.

What a stunning Christmas card this is Shirl. Your "practice" piece truly is the perfect starry night sky for this card because it showcases this wonderful star die to perfection. The way you backed this die with the night of navy paper highlights it even more and brings it front and center so beautifully. You use dies in the most gorgeous way Shirl and that is so inspiring to me. You have made an outstanding card here my friend. I have pinned and fav'd this beauty! ~Karen.

Your star is just gorgeous and I like the dark sky against it. This makes a very special Christmas card.

Shirl, this is so lovely! I think it's great you ended up using a practice piece and it works perfectly to achieve a galaxy background look. Then inlaid star is stunning as well. This is a real beauty!
