First I carefully used an exacto knife to remove the phrase "I am" from the rest of the words, leaving only "thankful for you." (Yes, it was scary and I was nervous, but it worked!)
I used a hinged stamp positioner to align the 4 layers of the sunflower image onto 2.75" squares of white cardstock, then matted them onto 3" squares of burgundy. I also used the stamp positioner to place the phrase on 1" x 2.5" white rectangles, then matted with 1.25" x 2.75" burgundy rectangles. The matted sunflowers are raised with Dimensionals, and adhered to the top of 4" x 5.25" mustard rectangles, which are adhered to the front of white card bases. Wrap twine before adhering to the card base, or use cut strips of burlap (4" by about 3/4") under the phrase.
Since I was making 24 of these, I pre-cut all the cardstock pieces and then did my stamping.
