I am new to card making and was tryout out the no bulk shaker card technique so that I can mail these to friends this Christmas. It took about 5 goes but I finally settled on filling in the circle with a solid colour so that the word 'joy' didn't get lost.

Hi, Dianne, and welcome to SCS! I see you are from Australia, and I know one of my dear friends will LOVE to see this card and see you!
Congratulations on your first upload, and what a beautiful shaker card! I've never made one (yet), so I applaud you for pushing through and finishing it. It's beautiful, and I love the colors and the sparkle.
I know you'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here at SCS, and perhaps you might consider joining a challenge found on the Home Page. Looking forward to seeing more of your lovely work! Hugs!
P. S. You might want to go to the Forum, "Start Here" and get familiar with SCS and introduce yourself. Here's a direct link.

What a fun and festive shaker! No bulk shaker is a new one on me, I'll have to look that up! Great job on this, the sparkly Joy sentiment looks lovely on the ornament shape. Welcome to the gallery!

Thank you for all your encouragement and warm welcome. I think I have made more cards that have ended up in the project round file than have actually been sent out yet but I'm doing lots of learning on You Tube and I am getting better all the time. I have so much respect for the wonderful creativity I find on You Tube and Pinterest every day - amazing!
