This is for Carey's super fun sketch, SC671. I changed the orientation (because of the Bethlehem image, more on that below)
I had the idea in my head to have the town of Bethlehem sitting on a hill with a large moon behind it and then a galaxy of stars. I worked for quite some time but it was a fail. My Bethlehem stamp was wrong. I took a break and played an online game. I chatted with a friend I have made through the game who has become a FB friend and she told me she loved my cards. Well, that was all the inspiration I needed! I went back into the art room, changed Bethlehem to a black hill and a cat sitting on it. I Die cut a new moon because Bethlehem had been stamped in front of the moon originally. I then added splatters, the three stars and a sentiment and placed it on my shelf. My husband had seen the flop so when he came in and saw the final result he was impressed. It's always fun to impress the DH!

Sometimes the idea you have in your mind just doesn't fit what you're trying to make it fit! I absolutely love your cat looking out into the starry sky, which is stunning, by the way!
