This card was made for Paper Players Color Challenge #370: http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/ where the challenge was to make a card using only the color white.
I created my winter scene as a Christmas card using a standard card base made from Stampin' Up! Whisper White Thick Cardstock, then the rest of the card front was from the regular 80 lb Whisper White cardstock.
The front panel is 4" x 5"-1/4" with a sky pattern die cut using the Stampin' Up! Card Fron Builder Thinlits for the moon and stars. I glued this to the card base with Tombow glue.
Next I cut three sets of mountains using a die from the SU Outdoor Adventure set. I glued the background mountains on with Tombow glue. The second layer of mountains were laid over the background mountains with Adhesive Foam Strips to make them stand out from the card.
Next the pine trees from the SU Card Front Builder Thinlits set were die cut and then mounted using Adhesive Foam Strips.
The bear is a die from the SU Outdoor Adventure set. He was also attached with Adhesive Foam Strips.
When you attach your shapes, be sure and do them AFTER you stamp your sentiment. I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment because it was super important to get it straight and in the right place on the card front.
Not a difficult card, but it does require care in planning what goes in the background, and what gets attached in the foreground. I'd give this card a difficulty rating of 3 out of a possible 5.
