I'm still in my Christmas wrap re-cycle mojo mood...so I'm going with it! You may get tired of seeing cards using old wrapping paper before I'm finished...hope not!
I checked out the possible challenge entries before I began to see if I should slant my design a certain way to meet requirements. It needed to be a Christmas card because I'm behind, and I wanted to catch up on the Alphabet Challenge, Round 8, where I'm also behind. I ended up able to meet three challenges requirements.
#1 - DD8ABC13M - Alphabet Letter "M" for Medallion and double challenge Letter "N" to use material with a "nap" or a marker "nib" in making your card. I colorized my ribbon to a compatible color for the card using my Copic marker NIB. Love being able to change the color of ribbon, pearls, rhinestones, etc. with Copic markers.
#2 - CCC17DEC - 2017 Christmas Challenges. My card did not fit the theme for specific months; therefore, it goes to December: "Anything Goes!" Can't go wrong there, for sure!
#3 - SCSCCJUL17 - July 2017 Dirty Dozen Christmas Monthly Challenges. Word is follows: PRESENTS... create a card using presents, bows, boxes, old wrapping paper, or create a gift. My card uses "old wrapping paper"...fitting the challenge perfectly!

Carlene, you're making such beautiful cards by recycling your gift wrap. The navy and gold is fabulous together and so is the center piece of your card. I'm impressed.

Love the idea of using old Christmas wrap, but you've taken this to the next level with fabulous gold borders on both layers and the gorgeous medallion and sentiment on glitter paper. Amazing!
