I saw this card on Pinterest, and had to try it: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/506303183099839852/. I made a similar card (also in my gallery here) with a Santa owl. This time, I made a penguin. I punched out the necessary pieces, cut off the ears, and glued everything together. For the feet, I wanted them yellow, so I punched the bottom part of the body out of yellow cardstock, cut off the feet, and glued them over the black feet on my penguin body. I cut a hat from red cardstock, added a strip of felt to the brim, and a white felt pompom that I'd cut using a die cut as a template. I also added googly eyes with Ranger Multi Medium Matte. I used an image of the owl that I'd scanned into our computer to help me size the letters in Photoshop, then printed those on a piece of white cardstock. I colored the letters with 2 blue pencils to create an ombre effect. I added "snow" to the letters with my Liquid Applique pen, and attached my penguin with a Mini Spring action wobbler. I matted that panel with 2 narrow black cardstock strips along the top and bottom, adhered 2 patterned paper strips to my card base, and mounted my main panel in place.
