Pam's Color Challenge - Crazed over Crushed Cherry Cobbler and dessert option - gratitude
Toni's Ways to Use It - Mmmm, Food
My Stampin Up demonstrator dropped off my order this morning. This new stamp set and dies were terrific for both challenges. This is my first time to use both. For me there's always a learning curve with new products. I was inspired by Amy's fabulous card:
For my case: I changed to Brick Wall embossing in the background, used a scrap of ribbon instead of CS strips and layered white on white. I extended the elements over the oval edge and used a different sentiment placed lower on the card. Used different colors for the challenge. Thanks Amy for sharing your card!
Food - pumpkins and squash -it's that time of year. The sentiment was stamped in curry, die-cut, popped up and goes for dessert; does that mean - eat your words! LOL Both pumpkins were stamped in Cajun Craze, although the larger one was stamped off first. The squash and stems in the curry and two more stems in the cherry. I arranged the elements on the oval which was popped up over the ribbon.
Had fun with my new toys. Two excellent challenges. TFL

Your brick EF makes me think of the white ceramic subway tile backsplash in my previous kitchen - and since the kitchen is a perfect setting for food this works well with your squash & pumpkins, too. I love that ornate die cut you used around the sentiment!

Lovely card combining challenges and your sentiment is very true, Diane. The texture from dry embossing accents your oval of gourds and foliage very nicely.

Love the clean look of this! Wonderful subject for those CC colours! I ditto Sallie's comment about the sentiment. This is a beautiful Thanksgiving card!

What a great card for the challenge! Even though it is now a known fact that Stampers have wine as a food group, I could live on veggies! Well maybe, wine with the veggies ;)

Oh Diane, what a wonderful Fall card this is. It has that Italian feel to it that I just love. The white brick bg really showcases your gorgeous ribbon and all your fall elements. I was actually just looking at this stamp set in the catalog, then I open up your gorgeous card....well, needless to say, you have done some enabling my friend by making and posting this wonderful card. ~Karen.
