Let me preface this by saying that typically I would not post a card like this but after a year & a half of EPIC FAILS with this embossing folder, I am hoping someone might have an idea of how I can improve my results . . . .I have posted in the forum (Constructive Criticisms) 2 pictures of "the best of the worst" in hopes of getting some help - the other card I posted there show the results with trying to color the embossed image . . . .
On this card I brayered over the negative space on the folder then ran it through my big shot. Added the sentiment and embossed with snow white powder.
Thanks for any help or suggestions!!

I think you are doing more than fine with this embossing folder, Linda. Your card is GREAT.....and perfect for someone who also enjoys "your kind of food". : )

I am not sure where your unhappiness lies with this card. I think it is marvellous! It reflects my favourite foods in life. :-) I think your brayered background highlights the embossing beautifully!

I haven't seen your other attempts with this EF but I think this one is an epic success! I love the colors you got and how they blended with your brayering. I thought this was a die cut before reading your description! Keep using this technique cause it's a keeper!
