I was intrigued by this designed paper from Paper Studio, soft and unexpected color combinations for snowflakes. I had been wanting to use my Spellbinders Shapeabilities snowflake dies, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. The smaller snowflakes were die cut from the same green DP and I turned them over so the green was folded against the white.
I have to admit I ran into a problem with some of the papers, since I had just come from my office and using the printer and copy machines, in which you put the copy face down. Well, guess what I did with my Xyron 850?? YUP!!! So instead of throwing out all the layers, I dusted them with clear EP and heated embossed them. The backgrounds I saved for another time, but I used the green stripes on the cards.
