Tricia's CAS Challenge - Into the Forest: Trees of all kinds are found in the forest. I used a classic stamp set. This particular bunch of bare trees reminds me of Autumn and looks terrific embossed in gold. I love a clean and simple card that is easy to mail.
Lydia's Try a Technique Challenge - Stone Cold Twisted: an updated version of the Polished Stone Technique. I had lots of fun trying this out and made several panels, so much so that I ran out of Wink of Stella. I had to switch to Perfect Pearls which looks fine, although I could've should've used more. Between the two, I prefer the Wink of Stella. If you don't have any, consider getting some if only for this technique.
Can't wait to see what everyone makes. I'll be doing this technique again. TFL
FYI - I made this one Monday. On Tuesday, I see the Color Challenge colors are exactly what I used and I even have dessert, but I did not make this for the Color Challenge. I assure you I did not have advance knowledge of the colors. Instead, I have the joy of making another card.

Diane, the background you created with the technique is remarkable, and the trees stamped in gold are gorgeous!! You did a fantastic job with the two challenges.
