I made this easel card for my sister who is retiring in two weeks.
I diecut the 2 Silver frames , then die cut again with a dark gray CS and stacked it to give the frames a bit of dimension.
I printed the sentiment (found on Pinterest) on DP and adhered to the back of the smaller frame.
Using a coordinating DP, I cut that to size then adhered to white base. Layered accordingly and added a rolled flower I had from a previous challenge. Here is the tutorial by Joanne Basile: Rolled Flowers Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I placed the die cut leaves & metallic thread (dessert) embellishment under the flower.
I simply wound the thread around my 4 fingers several times and tied it in the middle.
Last, I added the pearl gem in the center of the flower.

Jeannie this is fabulous. The gold thread behind your sweet rolled flower looks beautiful and I love the frames to showcase the lovely sentiment. I hope your sister loves retirement as much as I do.

Fabulous card, Jeannie. Those silver frames look like real metal. The rolled flower, leaves and thread turned out to be a wonderful addition to this fabulous card.

BEAUTIFUL! Love the double lacy silver framing and the lovely patterned papers that work so well together. Love your rolled rose with the metallic thread and the sentiment is just so perfect! Your sister will love this and retirement...as we all seem to!
