I love Cathy's sketch today. Great design to be able to layer different patterns and colors together. This card is for the Community Violence Intervention Center Card Drive (#4) for Falliday Fest. The center is located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. So I had to use this sunflower stamp as my circle today. They have such beautiful fields of sunflowers throughout their lovely state. I just wish that I had thought to emboss the flower to match the sentiment.
I was worried that I still wouldn't be able to upload my card this morning, but I finally got my cable back at about midnight last night! We were in bed asleep when the doorbell rang. I didn't hear it, but my husband got up and went to the door. It was the police telling us that it was just the cable guy outside our house. Apparently someone called to report a suspicious van at our house, so they thought it was us. They apologized to my husband, who was standing there in his underwear, for waking us up. HA! We're just happy to have our TV and internet back.

visits in the middle of the night from policemen can be scary - we had a visit once because a burglar was seen apparently making his escape through our back yard. our sliding glass back door was slightly ajar - :O - so they came into our house and searched everywhere. needless to say, we were not hiding an escaped thief and it was quite a jarring experience. glad yours turned out for the good. LOVE your sweet sunflower card. great supporting layers and beautiful coloring. (i think i might remember having that sunflower - is it from a while ago?) kind regards, lela
