The CAS challenge this week was to use a Christmas tree on your card and to do a card that would be unusual for us to make. This very simple card is way out of my comfort zone; I'm a girl who loves to get inky. Give me a sponge wedge and a rainbow of inkpads any day! CAS cards are hard for me because I tend to either smudge them or get something stamped on crooked. Anyway, I hope I did OK with this one! It's good for us to get out of our comfort zone as often as possible! It doesn't show in the photo much (it's been so overcast here lately), but the tree is embossed in gold and really shines. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso.

Oh, this is my favorite style - clean and simple -and you did it so well! You showed great restraint to not add lots of other stuff to this card -you let that pretty embossed tree and the perfectly positioned sentiment carry the card. Nicely done!
