When I saw the color combo for this challenge, I thought of a sunset scene with silhouetted images in the foreground. I began by creating a mask from Frog tape and a "Stitched Hillside Borders" die, and applied that to the bottom of my mixed media paper. I inked above it with Distress inks, removed the mask, & inked lightly along the top of the snow line with Fossilized Amber, where the light would be reflecting on it. I stamped my images with black ink, and penciled in a path in front of them. I added snow shadows with a lavender colored pencil, & colored in the path with pencils. I used Gamsol on a paper stump to blend all the pencil colors out.
For the greeting, I used a Taylored Expressions die that I got as a freebie. I die cut it from white cardstock backed with Stick It adhesive. I stamped the "sending" from the "Christmas" set in Versamark onto black cardstock, heat embossed it, and trimmed it into a strip. I adhered the "peace" below the stamped word, and trimmed the end of the strip to mimic the angle of the "p." I adhered that in the upper right corner, and mounted my card front to a white card base.
