I chose to do Dina's Fall Inspiration Mix-Ability challenge for my card (MIX248 - Fall Inspiration (10/27/2017) by dini at Splitcoaststampers. I die cut the "pumpkin" using one of the "Scribbles & Splat" dies from some black cardstock that I had applied Stick It adhesive to. I made sure the Stick It was on the front side of the die cut, so I could stick my gilding flakes to it. I die cut some leaves using one of the "Garden Greens" dies, & hand cut a stem. I adhered those to my pumpkin, and set it aside.
I painted a panel of watercolor paper with a mix of grey & brown acrylic craft paints. Mostly to seal it in preparation for using my gelatos. For the corners, I used drywall tape as a stencil, and spread matte gel over it. I let that dry, and blended yellow, orange, & brown gelatos over each corner. I also blended the orange & yellow where my pumpkin would be. I glued my pumpkin in place. I stamped my greeting, that I made with "Claire's ABC's," on a strip of green patterned paper from my scrap stash. I glued that along one of the corner sections, and glued a slightly narrower strip along the other. Finally, I mounted my card front to a white card base.
