as well as the Falliday Fest Yeti challenge. When I was growing up my family always had real pine trees for Christmas. Admittedly they were very sad looking Charlie Brown kind of trees because my dad always waited until the last minute on Christmas eve to go and buy a tree and we got just the sad pickings that were left at that point. So most of my art is about lovely green pines. But during my childhood there was also a fad to have silver tinsel trees. I mostly thought they were kind of cheap and tacky looking. But one night we went to a Christmas party at the home of my Dad's boss. His very stylish wife had this gorgeous silver tinsel tree with beautiful pink bulbs and pink ribbon garland. It was rich and beautiful. So this card is in honor of that memory. I made my Watercolor Splash background with Regal Rose ink, then die cut my tree from silver glitter paper and added pink sequins for ornaments.
