I began by die cutting the letters for the main word from various patterned papers in my ever-growing scrap stash. I stamped the letters onto the die cuts with black ink, and set those aside. For the background, I stamped the "thanks" in Old Paper Distress ink where I wanted my die cut letters, just as a placeholder. I marked the vertical center line (which ended up not really being necessary), and horizontal lines to help me with stamping my word straight. I stamped the same "thanks" repeatedly on my background, going in rainbow order. After I had finished all the stamping, I spritzed the panel with water from my Distress Sprayer, to let the inks bleed, then dried it with my heat tool. Since I couldn't get the horizontal pencil lines erased completely, I just camouflaged them with black dashed lines. I glued the die cut letters over my Old Paper stamped ones. I stamped the "lots of" from the "Thanks" set onto a strip of black cardstock, and white heat embossed it. I trimmed the right edge at an angle, and glued it above the main "thanks." I adhered a black strip to the top & bottom of my card base, leaving 1/8" of white above & below, then mounted my stamped panel.
