CAS453 = "make a card with a Christmas Tree that would be an unusual card/tree for you to make"
TLC662 = Loll Thompson's "Splash Watercolor" technique presented by Karen.
Using Loll's technique, I started with a DP rather than watercolor paper for the bg. The tree(got it on EBay so no idea of the SU set it came from)is rather "Charlie Brown"....so more length was added to the lower branches. I then bedazzled it with pearls and rhinestones...something I don't often do. Thought it made a good juxtaposition of "rustic" and "glamour".

I like your teal splashes in the bg, matching up with your frame. You decorated your tree beautifully Sallie. Amazing how a little bling can make something look so elegant!! :>)

Sally I really love this tree and the way you embellished it. It is very pretty against the dp you used as well!!

Sallie,
I agree it does have a Charlie Brown appeal but it is so lovely and combined with today's watercolor splash technique that background is so lovely!

I adore your Charlie Brown tree!! Those gems sure make it sparkle and shine. The bg is wonderful with the water color treatment!!

Great idea to do the splash on DP, Sallie. I know which set the tree is from, I just can't think - and it looks so different with the extra height, and so beautifully decorated.
