Well, I just loved photo number 3 in this list of Inspiration shots for the not your typical Christmas tree that Kia has this week for the clean and simple challenge. You can see all those trees here in the challenge thread. I had already poked all the holes and wove the fibers through the branches before I came back to the shot to see there was a star at the top, I could not find a white star button in my stash and I figured If I stamped and heat embossed one I'd probably catch the paper on fire and this chalkboard finished cardstock already is stinky without adding smoke on top of that... I did use a rectangle die to cut a frame for the edges for interest and there is black double sided foam tape under that. The packages are left overs from the tags I made for Carla's cut it out challenge earlier in the week. Oh, and shot this after dark under artificial lights its really not Halloween colored in real life. Thanks for this challenge Kia, & tfl.

I love this cute tree. It has such character and humbleness.

Such a fun card! Love the buttons at the top and all the interesting embellishments on your Charlie BRown tree.
