I began by die cutting a panel of bristol paper with the stitched rectangle die. I taped that to a cutting board with delicate surface Frog tape, masking off the edges beyond the stitching lines. I stamped what I assume is a pine branch image from the stamp set in Pine Needles ink onto my panel. I used Bundled Sage for the mistletoe, and spritzed my panel with water using my Distress Sprayer. It kind of surprised me that the Bundled Sage didn't run much, while the Pine Needles really took off! I dried that with my heat tool, and stamped the holly leaves with Lucky Clover ink. I spritzed again, and this time let it air dry. When it was dry, I stamped the berries with Barn Door, spritzed, and let it dry.
I stamped & heat embossed my greeting on another scrap of bristol, and die cut it with the stitched oval die. I went around the edges with my Versamarker, applied gold embossing powder, and melted that. I inked over the oval with Barn Door, doing 2 light coats. I wanted to tie it in with the berries, but not be too in-your-face.
After my panel was dry, I removed the tape, and heat embossed the edges the same way I'd done my oval. I adhered my panel to a white card base, and popped up my greeting on foam tape.
