For today's Ways to Use It challenge, we were to use or scissors. Sabrina's sample linked back to TLC30 for Cut out cards and I wanted to try that technique. Of course, I had to choose an image that was very difficult to fussy cut. I ultimately decided not to cut further as the image is so delicate but I think the effect is there.
I heat embossed the Eiffel Tower, colored the blossom branch with SU markers and stamped. Then the fun of fussy cutting the window using both an exacto knife and scissors. I cut a mat from silver glitter paper, stamped the sentiment and popped up the window.
This was a fun challenge, thank you Carla! And this is my third card in the series of daily challenges in my quest to be a Yeti.
Thanks for looking!

Wonderful popped up frame for your Eiffel tower, Catherine. You go girl on your yeti journey, lol.....That must have been tricky to cut out, but it is a neat effect!

Beautiful card, Catherine! I'm impressed at the cutting on the cherry blossom limb and that marvelous Eiffel Tower. Thanks for playing in my challenge!

Oh, the effect is definitely there and it's beautiful, Catherine. I love this. DH was asking me a couple of weeks back if I'd like a trip to Paris in December. But I said actually I'd prefer Spring next year when the trees are in blossom, especially as we were there last December. I love the glitter layer in conjunction with your beautiful Eiffel Tower.

I love how you fussy cut around your branch and how it plays into your wonderful design of this card.

This is stunning! Totally love the fussy cut window you made with the cherry blossom branch hanging down into the aperture. And your placement of the lovely silver Eiffel Tower is so perfect it makes my teeth hurt. You created a lovely visual triangle with the branch, the tower and the sentiment, and then encased it all with that eye-catching silver border. Popping this one into my favs to study later. Nicely done and TFS!
