I wanted to make a new home card for my BIL and his partner. I had a piece of the Soho Subway dsp. which I wanted to use for the masculine aspect. This is for the "k" alpha challenge. K is for Keys. I embossed the door e.f. and then cut a piece of yellow to emboss for the door and cut it out to glue into the blue door frame. I use an antique brad for the door knob. Sponged all edges and a lot of the door frame with walnut stain. TFL

Oh.my.goodness.Shirl. Your creativity astounds me! You thought of every single detail, including the mail slot! I adore this embossed door and doorframe you made and how you gave it terrific depth and dimension with the walnut stain. I really love the blue doorframe and the yellow door and how this all plays off this wonderful subway paper. Using an antique brad for a door knob is brilliant and so are these wonderful keys hanging there with the perfect little sentiment- how exciting! Your BIL is truly going to love this card Shirl. This is going right into my favs! ~Karen.
