I used a stencil to create the background before I sanded the card stock. I don't often use glitter so I was very light-handed with the versamark and heat & stick powder. I only got gentle streaks of glitter but I like the effect that was achieved.

Good for you. I chickened out! Glitter and I are opposites. I attract it like crazy and it ends up in places, well, you get the idea. Great card. You did a super job.

Wendy,
I love you gentle swirls of glitter as well, and a lovely design of your card! The large glittering hello and glittering ribbon are beautiful accents on the card!

Using the stencil befor doing the technique on your card base was very clever. I think your gentle streaks of glitter really enhance the background. The Black and White and Yellow go great with the sparkles!
