The Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS452 - Halloween Cute or Spooky -10/23/17, was just what I needed as inspiration for a thank you card for my next door neighbor.
I opted to go the cute route, rather than spooky, because I like smiling pumpkins! Nothing fancy in the construction of this card. I opted to use the debossed side of the embossed pumpkin panel because the bumpy side distracted from the jack-o-lantern. The stem of the pumpkin is done with a piece of untwisted paper raffia that I had in my discard pile. Also found the pre-punched grass border and decided it was the perfect size....that is until I dug through my Halloween sentiment stamps and discovered they were all too large to fit the space. Ugh! Fortunately I found this tiny Harvest sentiment and didnÂ’t have to re-punch another piece of grass. I brushed Specturm Noir clear glitter onto the face and leaves to add a bit of sparkle.
Thanks for swinging by the pumpkin patch to check out my Hexy Halloween pumpkin. Happy Halloween to you!
