I'm this week's hostess for Ways to Use it. It's time to get down to some basics and Cut it Out! Hope you'll play along.
I'm combining challenges again, trying to catch up on some Falliday Fest challenges and tackling this week's Color and CAS challenges for some Halloween fun. I watercolored the retro Halloween digi image using the Distress Oxide ink. Trimmed the bottom to allow for the sentiment and fussy cut around the top. Masked off half the cardbase, and used the acrylic block bg technique for the left side. Took off the mask, and stamped the harlequin bg in purple, then yellow on the other side. I had a sopping wet cardbase by then! Let it dry overnight. I trimmed the panel down, accenting the harlequin by fussy cutting the angles. Popped the image panel up with dimensional tape and mounted on black cardbase to complete. TFL

Wonderful colours, fun images. Your block background turned out fabulously, worth waiting for. Great cutting, both on the image and the edge of the harlequin pattern.
