Last week I was a Growing in Unity Girl so today meant I needed to select winners. Well who wants a blog post with just winner's names on it, boring, to most of the readers anyway, I suppose to the winners that's all they really need! With winners randomly selected I now needed a photo and what better photo to a crafter than a card right? SCS challenges to the rescue. A CAS card was all I had time for so I looked at the CAS452 Challenge and found it was Haloween. I do happen to have the cutest Unity kitty stamp for that! I would also like to complete more Falliday Fest challenges and FF17ForestRanger
was ideal for a quick card. My recycling item is the framing layer beneath the kitty, it is a piece of wrapping paper I couldn't part with from a gift Janine (Jay_Bee) brought when they visited this spring.

I was intrigued by your bg from my first look at this card - I thought maybe it was rows of washi until I read your description. I like the fibers on the edge of the card mimicking the fiber look in your wrapping paper. Your black & white rendering looks awesome against the more intricate designed paper.

Yes! I love that you keep treasures that are too good for the trash! My box has lace, wallpaper, netting packaging, Kleenex boxes (don't they have the prettiest patterns?), And a piece of masking tape with strain and poly urethane on it. Anyway, love your fabulous CAS card, Angie!

Great images and design. All elements complementing and echoing the others. I have a similar background paper that I must now put a cat on. Here's to smudgeless stamping!

This is such the awesome card Angie!! I love the black cat with the neutral colored bg. I also really like the linen threads that you trimmed it in. :>)
